In partnership with Riverfront Recapture we are pleased to be offering Intro to Kayak, Intro to Touring, Guided Evening Paddles and Kayak Fitness classes on the Connecticut River. Based out of Riverside Park, home to the Greater Hartford Jaycees Community Boathouse, just north of downtown Hartford, Riverfront Recapture is leading the effort to reconnect metropolitan Hartford with the Connecticut River and provide community access to the waterfront.

The Particulars:
Reservations are required! Contact Collinsville Canoe & Kayak at 860-693-6977 to make reservations. Payment is due in full at time of reservation.
Cancellations:
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
When & Where to Meet:
Please be considerate to other students and arrive at least 15 minutes before lesson or evening paddle is scheduled to start. Students arriving less than 15 minutes before class or evening paddle may be denied entrance. Classes and evening paddles meet at the Boat Launch at Riverside Park. For directions click here.
What to Wear: Please wear quick drying clothes whenever possible, (we prefer students not to be wearing cotton), foot protection, preferably neoprene booties or beach shoes. Remember to bring a change of clothing and a towel. If you wear eyeglasses, retainers will prevent their loss.

We strive to provide quality gear and safety conscious instructors. Water sports, however, as well as many other sports have inherent risks. Due to these risks we ask that you read, accept and sign a waiver, which we will provide prior to the lesson, (view and print waiver).
**Lessons are subject to change without prior notice.

We hold our lessons “Rain or Shine”, except in the event of extreme weather or river conditions.
