BANTAM RIVER

One of our most popular tours for folks of all ages, the Bantam River slowly meanders through the 4000 acre White Memorial Foundation, enabling paddlers to observe wildlife in a diverse wetland sanctuary. Be on the lookout for Osprey, Great Blue Heron, and the occasional ‘slap’ of a beaver’s tail. We’ll paddle upstream to little pond, then wind our way down to the Bantam Lake, where we’ll stop for snacks at a sandy beach. Daytime, moonlight and women-only tours are offered.
Open to all ages.
Open to solo kayaks, tandem kayaks and canoes.
Recreational trip /No prerequisites.
