Guided by women, for women. Here's an opportunity
to meet and paddle with other women from the area. No pressure,
relaxed and fun!
RESERVATION DETAILS
Reservations are required for all trips.
Full payment is required on all reservations.
All prices are per person.
All trips include boat, PFD, paddle and skirt when appropriate.
Receive a $10 discount if
you have and use your own appropriate equipment.
Participants are responsible for their own lunch or snacks and plenty
of liquids (NO GLASS ITEMS, PLEASE).
Cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the scheduled trip date
will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 5 days of
the scheduled trip date will forfeit the entire fee. CCK reserves
the right to cancel trips for any reason, including but not limited
to, insufficient sign ups and hazardous conditions.

LIABILITY
We strive to provide quality gear and safety conscious guides. Water
sports, however, as well as many other sports have inherent risks.
Due to these risks we ask that you read, accept and sign a waiver,
which we will provide prior to the trip, (view
and print waiver). If you have any health conditions, which
may impair your safety or the safety of others, please evaluate
your ability to participate in one of our trips. The use of recreational
drugs or alcohol is prohibited while participating in our tour program.
Those who are concerned about their
endurance level may arrange with a partner to paddle a double kayak.
These arrangements must be made at the time of reservation.
| BANTAM
RIVER |
One of our most popular tours for folks of all
ages, the Bantam River slowly meanders through the 4000 acre
White Memorial Foundation, enabling paddlers to observe wildlife
in a diverse wetland sanctuary. Be on the lookout for Osprey,
Great Blue Heron, and the occasional ‘slap’ of
a beaver’s tail. We’ll paddle upstream to little
pond, then wind our way down to the Bantam Lake, where we’ll
stop for snacks at a sandy beach. Daytime, moonlight and women-only
tours are offered.

| FARMINGTON
RIVER |
Avon to Simsbury:
We’ll put in behind Nassau’s Furniture at Route
44 in Avon, and paddle 8.5 flat water miles to Curtis Park
in Simsbury. You’ll see the Farmington Valley from a
different perspective as we pass open meadows, farmland and
the Hublein Tower, high atop Avon Mountain.
Open to all ages.
Open to solo kayaks, tandem kayaks and canoes.

Poquonock to Connecticut River, Windsor:
We’ll begin our tour at Strawberry Hills Park in the
Poquonock section of Windsor and paddle a short distance to
the famous Bart’s Drive In for ice cream and french
fries. After our snacks, we’ll continue downstream past
Loomis Chaffee school to where the Farmington meets the CT
River, then down to the state boat launch below the Bissell
Bridge (@Route 291).
Open to all ages.

| LAKE WINCHESTER |
Spend time with us on beautiful, unspoiled Lake Winchester,
and you’ll leave feeling relaxed and renewed! With very
little development and powerboat restrictions, this reservoir
is a favorite destination for paddlers in northwestern CT.
This is a women only tour!
